The Comeback Kid: Mike Lee Triumphs Over Brain Injury

American Bull Rider Returns to the Arena After Skull-Crushing Event

A Story of Resilience and Determination

Michael "Mike" Lee, born June 11, 1983, is an American professional rodeo cowboy who specializes in bull riding. As the 2004 Professional Bull Riders (PBR) World Champion, Lee has been a force to be reckoned with in the sport. However, last year, Lee's career was put on hold after he suffered a life-threatening brain injury during a bull riding event.

While competing at the PBR's Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) event in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Lee was struck in the head by a bull. The impact fractured his skull and caused severe bleeding. Lee underwent emergency surgery and spent four months recovering from the injury.

Despite the severity of his injury, Lee remained determined to return to bull riding. After months of rehabilitation, he stepped back into the arena at the 2015 PBR BFTS Baltimore Invitational. To everyone's amazement, Lee won the first round with an impressive score of 87.75 points.

Lee's comeback victory was a testament to his unwavering spirit and incredible resilience. His determination to overcome adversity serves as an inspiration to all who face challenges in their lives. The return of Michael "Mike" Lee to the arena is a reminder that even the most severe obstacles can be overcome with perseverance and a belief in oneself.
